Payment Process

Payment is to be strictly made on the day of the appointment. Rebates will be proceed on the day of the session as well.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments are made so the time is dedicated to you. If you are unable to attend, 48 hours notice is required, otherwise a full fee will be charged. Please note this fee cannot be claimed under any funding scheme, and therefore there will be no rebate.


Medicare Rebates

Medicare rebates are available. To be eligible for a Medicare rebate, an individual must be referred by their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.

Patients with an assessed mental health issue

Up to 10 individual sessions and 10 group sessions can be issued. This is every calendar year. There is no cross over from one year to another for ‘unused’ sessions. Referral via a GP Mental Health Care Plan, or a letter from a psychiatrist or paediatrician is required.

Patients with an assessed chronic health condition

Up to 5 individual sessions per calendar year, under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) initiative. Referral requires a GP Management and Team Care Plan. Please note if you have already used these 5 sessions under speech pathology, physiotherapy or occupational therapy, you cannot get another 5 sessions under psychology.

Private Health Rebates

You may be eligible to receive rebates from your private health insurance. We are registered with most of the major private health insurers. However, please ensure you are covered under your extras, check the level of cover and rebates for initial and follow up sessions.

TAC, WORKCOVER AND VICTIMS OF CRIME (VOCAT)

We accept a limited number of referrals under these programmes. Please ensure that you have approved psychology sessions and provide this approval in written format to us prior to the appointment.
